Here are some options when it comes to booking day trips and tours. We use Viator to book tours and activities across the world. You can find trips from one hour to a few days long, make sure to read the reviews before you book anything to find the best quality tours. Get Your Guide offers the same type of service as Viator.
Lonely Planet makes our favourite travel guides. The books but also the PDFs are always a useful travel resource. You can also buy single chapters (PDF) from most guidebooks, which is convenient if you’re only visiting one city or region in a country. You can only buy the PDFs direct from Lonely Planet.
When it comes to purchasing travel gear and necessities we recommend Amazon. With a large assortiment, unbeatable prices and convenient shipping options Amazon is our preferred travel resource.
Whether you plan to travel for a short period or on the long-term, make sure to buy travel insurance before you leave. A travel insurance will cover you in case of illness, accident, lost luggage, flight cancellation, etc.
